Ornaete International Shipping and Return Policy

Effective for all purchases made on www.ornaete.com

At Ornaete, we take pride in delivering handwoven, artisan-crafted garments of the highest quality. Please read our return and exchange policy carefully before making a purchase to understand your rights and responsibilities.

1. Refunds

 

No Refunds: Ornaete does not issue refunds under any circumstances, including change of mind or if the garment is delivered in perfect condition.

2. Exchanges

Size Issues: We offer exchanges for size adjustments only. Exchanges are subject to availability and are limited to the same garment style.

Costs Incurred: Clients must bear all return shipping costs, customs duties, and taxes associated with the exchange process.

3. Reporting Issues

Immediate Notification: Any issues, including wrong size or damage, must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Delayed reports will not be entertained.

4. Conditions for Returns

Perfect Condition: Returned garments must be in their original, unworn, and undamaged condition, with all tags intact.

Delayed Returns: Returns initiated after the reporting window will not be accepted, and the client will bear the full cost of the garment.

 

5. Minor Irregularities

Handcrafted Nature: Minor defects in handwoven fabrics, print irregularities, or slight inconsistencies are part of the artisanal process and should not be considered faults.

Smell or Transit Odor: Due to moisture content during transit and shipping, some garments may have a smell upon arrival. This is not a defect and can easily be resolved by airing the garment or sun-drying it as per our Care Instructions.

 

6. Change of Mind Policy

Restocking Fee: Returns due to a change of mind will incur a 50% charge of the total garment cost, in addition to return shipping fees and associated duties.

We maintain these policies to balance our commitment to quality with the realities of international shipping. Thank you for understanding and supporting Ornaete's mission to celebrate craftmenship.

7. Return Approval Process

Pre-Approval Required: All returns must be pre-approved by Ornaete. Unapproved returns will not be accepted or processed. Clients must contact us at support@ornaete.com before initiating a return.

8. Transit Damage

Responsibility: Ornaete ensures safe packaging for all shipments. However, any damage caused during transit must be reported to the shipping carrier and Ornaete immediately upon delivery. Ornaete is not liable for damages caused by shipping carriers.

 

9. Custom Orders

Non-Returnable: Custom-made or personalized orders cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances, as they are specifically crafted for the client.

 

10. Duty and Tax Refunds

Non-Reimbursable: Any duties, taxes, or VAT paid during purchase or return shipping are non-refundable by Ornaete. Clients must consult local authorities for tax reclaim options if applicable.

 

11. Seasonal or Sale Items

Final Sale: Garments purchased during sales, promotions, or special offers are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

 

12. Shipping Timelines for Returns

Return Deadline: Approved returns must reach Alan Group in Italy within 7 business days from the date of approval. Delays will result in the return being voided.

 

13. Fabric and Color Variations

Artisanal Variations: Slight color differences or fabric texture variations are natural in handwoven and artisan-made products. These are not considered defects but a hallmark of their uniqueness.

 

14. Packaging Requirements for Returns

Original Packaging: Returned items must be packed in their original packaging, including any dust bags, labels, and tags. Failure to comply may result in the return being rejected.

 

15. Repeated Returns Policy

Monitoring Abuse: Ornaete reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges from customers with a history of frequent returns that appear abusive.

Wholesale Return

Our policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 15 days for domestic and 18 days for international.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

Partial Refund is applicable in case of Paypal payment since we will also incurr taxes plus the double duty of export and importing back the returned dress.

If payment is made by paypal the return will be initiated by paypal only. Kindly allow the  4-8 weeks to initiate return since paypal takes longer time and involvement of third party and international transactions and  information required in terms of processing is usually much longer than any other services.

Bank transfer. If you haven’t received a refund  first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

 Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over 6000 INR, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
