We will Move Forward, With the Mark & Gratitude for the next Chapter

Something really striked me while I was preparing for my SS26 collection where in middle we got all these geopolitical issues, chaos and war happening. I’ve been questioning & planning to drop the season & thinking about how uncertain life is — what is the true purpose of life?
How tightly we hold on,
How desperately we try to shape it in our image.
We build, we plan, we dream —
and then life arrives, in its own timing, with its own script.
Sometimes beautiful.
Sometimes unbearably painful.

There are moments when life shifts in an instant,
leaving behind a mark we didn’t ask for —
a trauma, a silence, a before-and-after.

And that mark?
It doesn’t leave us.
It becomes part of us.
But we learn — somehow — to walk with it.
To move forward gracefully,
even if not fully healed.

I wrote this blog , after the recent plane crash from Ahmedabad to London…
and the ongoing grief of war in Gaza, Israel, and elsewhere…but really could not post it, untill today.

I noticed something:
a shared stillness in the air.
A collective ache.
Even strangers, unconnected to the victims,
spoke softly, paused more often,
posted about the sorrow.
People turned back to their families,
to themselves,
to what matters.

And it reminded me —
we are deeply, mysteriously connected.
As if the grief of one life touches all life.

There are powers in the world that try to divide us.
But I see something else:
so much love for each other.
So much humanity still breathing beneath the headlines.
These are the people who carry the earth forward —
not in shouts, but in quiet grace.
In resilience.
In feeling.

We will go on.
With the pain, yes.
But also with the love.
And that is how we heal —
not by forgetting,
but by remembering with tenderness.

& Thank you for being around us.

There Is No Maybe in Love

When we love an object, we embrace it within ourselves. We know we love it, we desire it—there’s no hesitation, no question of “no.” Love, at times, can be materialistic too. We see something, we ...
